  1. First name and surname, postcode, email address, telephone number, outbound and return flight numbers, password, model, colour and registration plate of the entrusted vehicle, and credit/debit card information or other payment information;
  2. History of Bookings or attempted Bookings;
  3. Information you provide about your travel preferences in your royalnavette.ch account;
  4. Information relating to your purchases of the Service from our trusted partners;
  5. Information relating to your use of our website and/or mobile application. This includes a unique identifier stored in your cookies;
  6. Communications exchanged with us or sent to us by post, email, chat service, telephone calls or on social media;
  7. Address, including the real-time geographical location of your computer or device via GPS, Bluetooth and your IP address, through the location of Wi-Fi hotspots and cell towers if you use geolocation features and enable Location Services settings on your computer or device;

For what purposes do we use your personal data, why and for how long?

In most cases, we need your personal data in order to process the Booking, enter into a contract with you and perform that contract. 

We will not retain your data for longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is processed. To determine the appropriate retention period, we take into account the quantity, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the purposes for which we process it and whether we can achieve those purposes by other means. 

We archive personal data from closed accounts in accordance with the rules applicable to the protection of your data, solely in order to comply with the law, prevent fraud, recover sums owed, settle disputes, resolve technical problems, participate in investigations, enforce our General Terms and Conditions and take any other action permitted by law. 

Security of Your Personal Data

We follow strict security procedures regarding the storage and disclosure of your personal data, and to protect it against accidental loss, destruction or alteration. The data you provide to us is protected using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. SSL is the encryption method used for information and credit card data so that it can be transferred securely over the internet. 

All payment data is transmitted via a secure connection, Secure Socket Layer-SSL, through a dedicated network infrastructure, Multiprotocol Label Switching-MPLS, and stored in compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
